ARC staff are pleased to announce two more processed collections pertaining to the project commemorating the 50th anniversary of the desegregation of New Orleans public schools.
Jane Lemann’s personal papers reflect her wide civic involvement throughout New Orleans, particularly in issues of educational reform and school desegregation. The collection consists largely of collected publications from a wide range of activist organizations and related correspondence.
This collection documents the desegregation of New Orleans’ parochial schools, and includes correspondence, a scrapbook, and collected publications.
